Only In Miami-Dade...

Imagine if you are the bank who took over a house via foreclosure and you proactively speak with Miami-Dade Water and Sewer to pay off the prior owner's unpaid water bill.  You'd expect a little cooperation when it comes time to turn on the water for inspections, right?

Well, after the water company refused to turn on the water until the check cleared, I was able to lift the cover and turn on the water myself.  The first inspections went off perfectly.  Problems arose the next day however, when I needed to have another inspection done.

No water!  Why?  They had come by after 9PM at night and REMOVED the meter and connection pipe.

Only in Miami-Dade folks...  These are interesting times indeed!
