Ribbon Cutting: Palmetto Bay El Car Wash

Today was the ribbon-cutting at El Car Wash in Palmetto Bay.

The Mayor was on hand, along with community activist David Greenwell, to welcome this new business to the Palmetto Bay US-1 corridor.

Located just north of Sunstate Bank at 14031 South Dixie Highway, El Car Wash is honoring first-responders and essential workers with free car washes through the end of January.

The owners of El Car Wash took the opportunity to present a charitable donation to The Edge Charitable Foundation. The Early Development of Global Education (EDGE) Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing humanitarian services for families, specifically children in need.

They may call it their Pinecrest location, but this is El Car Wash in Palmetto Bay at US-1 & SW 140th Street with their official ribbon-cutting.
