Back to the Drive-In Movies

The Village of Palmetto Bay is rolling back the clock to the days of drive-in movies and turning the future Downtown Development area into the most amazing family-friendly drive-in theater.

On January 30 at 6 p.m., cars will be parking at Palmetto Bay Town Center (9705 East Hibiscus St.) and awaiting the 7 p.m. start of Grease (the sing-along version, with captions during the songs). Cars, golf carts, bicycles and walk-ups are also welcome.

The movie will be shown on a portable 2-story movie screen with stereo sound that is transmitted through your FM radio. This is going to be a movie night under the stars you won't want to miss!

Reserve your spot TODAY at <http://www.miamiurbandrivein.com>.  Hurry, free parking space is limited. Thereafter, you can buy spots for a reasonable fee. There are the usual movie refreshments also available for purchase. For more information, contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 305-259-1234.

Depending on the popularity, Palmetto Bay wants this to become a monthly event.
